About Paul – PGH Driving School
Hi, I’m Paul, and I run PGH Driving School here in Fareham.
I’m a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and a member of IAM RoadSmart, where I achieved a F1RST grade in my advanced driving test. I’m also a keen motorcyclist, which has given me a strong awareness of road safety and how different road users interact.
I regularly update my skills and knowledge through ongoing training, so my teaching stays up to date with current DVSA standards.
Alongside my driving qualifications, I hold an NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism. This allows me to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and support learners who may feel anxious or benefit from a calm, structured approach.
My aim is to provide friendly, patient, and professional driving lessons that help you become a safe and confident driver — not just pass your test. Lessons are always tailored to your individual pace, whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to build confidence behind the wheel.
I aim to provide a calm, supportive, and inclusive environment where all learners feel comfortable and respected.
I provide driving lessons in Fareham and Gosport, including areas such as Portchester, Whiteley, Locks Heath, Lee-on-the-Solent, and Titchfield. Lessons are designed to give you experience on a wide range of local roads, including the types of routes you’ll encounter in your driving test and everyday driving.
If you’re feeling nervous or unsure about starting lessons, that’s completely normal — many learners begin the same way. My approach is calm and supportive, helping you build confidence step by step in a relaxed environment.
If you’d like to get started, feel free to get in touch to check availability or discuss your lessons.
