Why learn to drive with us?

When you learn to drive with us we will guide you through the whole process and make it as easy as possible for you. We will answer all your questions, including helping with your theory revision if needed.

Our lessons are competitively priced, and we are always punctual. We aim to arrive within 3 minutes of the agreed start time. We won’t be early, and we’ll do our best never to be late. In the unlikely event that we are running late, we will message you in advance with a new estimated time of arrival.

We will help you to find and book your practical driving test for the right time – when you are ready to take it.

During your first lessons you may feel nervous, so to begin with, we will drive you to a quiet, safe place. We will start by learning the basics of car control, and until you are ready to drive on more complex roads and in busier traffic situations, we will drive you home. It’s likely this will be the case for the first few lessons; however, we do not charge you for the time it takes to drive you to and from the practice area. This could mean you need to allow up to an extra 30 minutes to get you there and back. If you pay for 2 hours, you get 2 hours in the driver’s seat.

Moving on from the first lessons, we will gradually begin to move away from the quiet practice areas. As you progress, our instructor will give you the support you need. When you are happy to, you can then begin to drive from home (or your agreed pick-up location). From this point on, we gradually start driving on more complex roads and learn all the manoeuvres. You will learn everything you need to drive safely, and as a result, you should be able to pass a driving test.

Although the driving test does not include motorway driving, we encourage you to book a motorway lesson (but not required) – this is to ensure you at least know the basics of driving on motorways. During this period of your learning, we will also conduct mock tests to give you experience of driving under test conditions.

To help you understand where you are in your learning process, we will record your progress using an online system, which you can access at any time.
